The APP will assist the physician in the global management of patient care in a rural health clinic. This will include in-office patient care performing comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, ordering and interpreting lab and radiographic studies, patient education, procedural interventions, medication management, and referral facilitation.

The RHC is located in Mt. Carmel, IL, which is a rural community roughly 45 minutes from Evansville, IN.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 80 hours/pay

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited university.
  • Licensed and current registration as a Certified Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
  • Prior clinical and surgical experience preferred.
  • Current CPR training.
  • ACLS training, preferred.
  • Must be available to see patients requiring same-day office visits.
  • Great deal of walking, lifting, stooping, bending, and pushing.
