Job Description:
  • Provides direct patient care in Physical Therapy and performs other related duties to providing care to students within the school setting.
  • Identifies, diagnoses, and treats patients with a wide variety of disabilities.
  • Participates in program planning, development and implementation.
  • Participates in Quality Improvement.
  • Counsels and instructs students/families and school professionals involved with the patient's rehabilitative needs, monitors student progress, ensures that recommendations are followed. Maintains records according to established procedures.
Requirements:
  • Prior to beginning patient care for Reliant Rehabilitation, a peer PT must complete a Competency Checklist.
  • Graduate of an APTA accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Basic Internet navigation skills
  • Current Physical Therapy license with the State of Oregon
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or client is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills to effectively communicate with student, family and school professional staff in a team environment.
  • The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.
  • SNF experience preferred.
  • Covid test 72 hours prior to start date with results issued 48 hours prior to start date
