SKILLS WE WANT: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree. Master’s degree in Engineering preferred. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) and ability to obtain a registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred. Will also considered certified allied professional with stormwater and/or stream design experience. Experience in any or all of the following: H&H modeling, floodplain analysis, shoreline/coastal resilience, dam design, scour analysis, riverine hydraulic analysis, hydrologic modeling and calculations, CLOMR, LOMR, stormwater management design, stream restoration, and the permitting and approval process Competence in HEC-RAS 1D, HEC-RAS 2D, SMS, SRH2D, HydroCAD, SWMM or similar software modeling. Computer Drafting skills (Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation). Project management skills in water resource design from concept through construction, including achieving proposals, invoicing, project milestones, and deadlines. Experience in preparing and processing PennDOT designs is a plus. Competence in client relationship and meeting facilitation. Team leading directing and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in use of software for reports, presentation, and routine office administrative tasks. Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
