Job Overview
The QC Inspector prepares product for inspection, inspects product, troubleshoots, packages product, and assembles commercial-grade sporting optics and accessories. The inspector will work under direct supervision, following procedures and standard work instructions. This is a full-time position with predominantly daytime hours. Some non-standard work shifts may be required.
· Performs in a factory-style inspection line
· Inspects optical devices and accessories for defects, using various techniques and tools
· Runs software to report and/or record defects
· Reads inspection standards and should be able to understand and follow procedure work instructions
· Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
· Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
· Follows prescribed safety regulations
· Follows instruction to meet daily inspection objectives
· Performs other duties, as needed, within the Primary Arms Team
Required qualifications:
· Must be detail oriented
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
· Must be a team player and work well under pressure
· Must have excellent work ethic
· Must have patience, attention to detail and a desire to learn
· Must be willing to learn and grow and take on additional responsibilities as they arise
· Must have basic computer skills
Preferred qualifications:
· Understanding and/or passion for optics and outdoor shooting sports
· The desire to grow and improve processes, and can present ideas in a clear and concise manner
