Job Description

Title: Maintenance Associate, Part-time
Reports to: Maintenance Director or Pastor
Location: Our Lady Of Grace |Avon, FL

Overview:

Our Lady Of Grace Parish is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate who will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of maintenance for parish buildings and property.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine paint, electrical, lighting, plumbing, carpentry repairs, etc. along with preventative maintenance.
  • Provides general oversight of all contracts and activities pertaining to building and grounds operations including routine. maintenance, new construction, renovation, remodeling, and any special services.
  • Responsible for building campus fire and security operations.
  • Air Conditioning: Replace belts, filters and thermostats as needed.
  • Any other duties or special projects as assigned by Pastor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Plumbing or electric license desired
  • Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, staff, and parishioners
  • Working knowledge of building equipment
  • Understanding of safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste items
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to climb, bend, kneel, stretch, reach
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Must be available for Emergency On call access
  • Must pass a post offer physical exam
