The American Red Cross Salesforce Team is a trailblazer in delivering innovative Salesforce solutions that drive business transformation. We are committed to providing exceptional service and tailored Salesforce implementations to our stakeholders. We seek a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to join our talented team.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce applications to meet the unique needs of our mission. Your deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce technologies will be critical in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours.


WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
* Design, develop, test, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
* Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
* Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
* Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to optimize performance and user experience.
* Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
* Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices.
* Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support.


Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
* Strong expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
* Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce integration patterns.
* Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications REQUIRED; other advanced Salesforce certifications are a plus.
* Proven experience in developing and delivering complex Salesforce projects.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes is a plus.

We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed.
