School Counselor in an Elementary Setting. This is a .5 FTE position beginning in the 2024/2025 school year.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Ohio School Counselor license;
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a School Counselor;
  • Master's degree or higher in a related field;
  • Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication using up-to-date technology;
  • Such alternatives to the above as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent.
Preferred:
  • Trained and certified in a crisis de-escalation intervention

Responsibilities and Essential Functions (detailed in attached job description):
  • Counseling and Guidance
  • Consultation and Collaboration
  • Coordination and Use of Community Resources
  • Professional Responsibilities and Practices
  • Program Development, Imprelentation, evaluation and Data
Salary and Range:
Commensurate with education and experience

Reports To:
Director of Student Services and Accessibility and Cassingham Elementary Principal
