Staffmark is hiring motivated Assembly Associates to support our client in Muncie, IN. If you're looking for a great job with a supportive team, we want to hear from you
Pay: $15 per hour
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Days: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
- Assemble metal parts and products based on instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Ensure all products are properly assembled, functional, and meet company quality standards.
- Operate hand tools and machinery to make or repair parts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with parts or products.
- Identify defective parts and follow procedures to report them to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (verbal, written, blueprints).
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to problem-solve and work independently.
- Capable of following safety protocols and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in noisy environments, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting.
- Good eyesight (depth perception, color differentiation) and excellent hand-eye coordination for assembly tasks.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access machine parts.
