Our client, an industry leader in augmented reality technology, is seeking a talented AR Systems Engineer to join their innovative and rapidly growing team. This role is perfect for a creative problem-solver who enjoys designing and implementing state-of-the-art AR solutions for industrial applications.

What We're Looking For:

Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree preferred, with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong background in working with computer hardware, electronic hardware, or mechanical systems.
  • Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with PLCs is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and PC hardware
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with leadership abilities
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and ability to handle distractions effectively

Travel: Ability to travel as needed to customer sites.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customers to create groundbreaking AR systems that deliver real-world value.
  • Prepare scopes of work, bills of materials, and concept drawings, and research hardware and software to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Utilize manufacturing principles like Toyota Production System, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing to design effective solutions.
  • Assist with system assembly, installation, training, and documentation, working closely with operations and customer teams.
  • Regularly visit customer sites to identify new opportunities and provide ongoing support, continuously refining processes for optimal results.
