Job Description/ Responsibilities

Job summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in Golang, Kubernetes, and DevOps.
  • Expertise in advanced Go language. Having min. of 5 years hands on experience working on Golang based projects.
  • Should have experience in setting up projects using Go language in container environment
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal or no technical assistance but also able to contribute to team efforts
  • Should be capable of understanding the business requirement and technical architecture.
  • Should be capable of working with client directly
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are needed
  • Proven experience with Golang, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies is mandatory.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with geospatial technology trends.
Team size: Single, the person hired will work with Client.

Key Deliverables:
  • Understand the business requirement and technical architecture.
  • Implement the requirements using Go language in container environment.
  • Client assigned activities.
Experience:
  • 8+ years total experience
  • 5+ years of hands on Golang experience
Required Skills:
  • Golang
  • Kubernetes
  • DevOps.
  • Rest services creation, Event Processing, Concurrent /Parallel Processing concepts
  • SQL ability to understand existing logic (complex) and Understanding Architectural concepts.
  • Ability to grasp business flow
Nice to have skills:
  • Java, Healthcare Domain experience, Experience in project management and leading analytical projects is highly desirable.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of geospatial analytics projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and objectives.
  • Utilize GoLang for efficient data processing and analysis, optimizing performance for geospatial computations.
  • Implement Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications, enhancing scalability and reliability of geospatial services.
  • Apply DevOps practices to streamline deployment and operation of geospatial applications, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial analytics into broader business solutions.
  • Conduct advanced spatial data analysis to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay abreast of emerging geospatial technologies and methodologies, continuously improving our analytics capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations when handling geospatial information.
  • Optimize geospatial data workflows for efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging automation where possible.
  • Participate in the development of proposals and presentations to communicate the value of geospatial analytics to stakeholders.
