General Overview: Responsible for programming, operating, and managing software systems including 4D, SharePoint, Document Management, and PC applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom data collection systems using the 4D Programming Language.
  • Manage and update our clients SharePoint and Teams systems, along with their related functionalities.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Antibus weigh scale software and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with customers to fulfill specific barcode label requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to systems, software, or user functionality.
  • Provide training for users on new systems and updates.
  • Create and maintain documentation for software systems.
  • Offer backup support for daily operations as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capacity to train users with diverse levels of technical expertise.

Working Conditions: The Programmer-Analyst will primarily work in the office but will occasionally be required to visit the plant. Must be able to comply with the plant's operational conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for up to 90% of the time.
  • Must be able to navigate within the office and plant environments.
  • Position involves operating computers and networking equipment/software.
  • Frequent communication with colleagues and other personnel in person and via phone is essential.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ongoing training required to stay updated with current technology trends.
