We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurology Clinic. Our team provides exceptional healthcare to patients who come from around the world to seek our expertise and receive the highest quality of care.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be part of a dynamic team including Dr. Jinny Tavee, who specializes in Neuromuscular Medicine. The selected candidate will be the primary nurse in the Neurology Clinic providing support to our patients with prior authorizations, medication refills, triage calls, DME orders, and follow-up calls. This candidate will provide support to the providers during biopsy and headache procedures.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will also act as the coordinator for the ALS clinic in partnership with the ALS Patient Navigator on our team. The ALS Clinic is a specialty clinic that is held once a month and responsibilities include: order entry, clinic schedule, DME ordering/testing, triage calls, and follow-up calls for our ALS patients.

Position Summary
Accurately plans and provides professional nursing care for patients, groups, or populations a systematic approach incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of plan of care using a variety of formats, tools, and technologies. The Ambulatory Clinic Registered Nurse works in a specialty care clinic and is responsible and accountable for facilitation and management of care coordination across the healthcare continuum. Utilizes the nursing process to work with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe and personalized care. Demonstrates core competencies in the area of practice.

Essential Duties

  1. Systematically collects or supervises the collection of focused data relating to health needs and concerns of a patient, group, or population in the ambulatory clinic setting.
  2. Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnostic statements for health promotion, health maintenance, or health-related problems or issues.
  3. Identifies expected and/or desired outcomes in a plan of care individualized for a specific patient, group, or population.
  4. Develops a plan that identifies strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes in individuals and/or populations and acts on plan of care.
  5. Ensures the plan of care reflects the cultural, spiritual, intellectual, age, educational, and psychosocial differences of individual patients, groups, or populations.
  6. Practices care coordination and transition management (CCTM) coordinating the delivery of care in the ambulatory clinic setting and across health care settings.
  7. Employs educational strategies that promote individual, community, and population health and safety.
  8. Evaluates progress toward attainment of stated outcomes in plan of care.
  9. Participates in projects, activities, committees, related to nursing and health care in clinical and organizational settings.
  10. Participates in evidenced based practice and research strategies to advance ambulatory care nursing and improve patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
  1. Education: Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  2. Work Experience: None
  3. Special Training, Certification or Licensure: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License and current BLS certification required upon hire for all areas. Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification preferred.


Salary Range: $34.00 - $48.62
