Civil Construction Company located in Savannah, GA is looking for a Site Work Superintendent to join their growing team.

Pay: $28-$35/hr base pay, 10+ hours a week OT, Truck Stipend, production bonuses, more earning potential with more responsibility and production. Pay is based on experience, skillset, and how much responsibility you qualify for.

Hours:
  • Typical hours are M-F from 7 am-5 pm.
  • Saturdays and later evening hours are left to the superintendent's discretion.
  • Superintendents are paid through lunch.
  • No limit on hours worked.
  • Night shift hours when the job requires it due to safety reasons.
  • The average OT for supers is 10-15/week depending on the job and quota for production bonuses.
Superintendent requirements:
  • Expert at reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Expert at fine grading with a dozer and motor grader.
  • Expert at laying storm drains and digging grade with an excavator.
  • Capable of accurately shooting grades, figuring percentages on pipe, and setting grades for boxes and ditches.
  • Strong leadership ability.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, owners, and foremen.
  • Manage Crew; hire, fire, create schedules, later hours left to Superintendent discretion.
  • Must have actual civil site work experience in fine grading with a dozer, reading civil blueprints, grading ponds, building pads, house pads, roads, curbs, parking lots, and laying storm drain operating an excavator.
  • Ability to calculate grading math and set the GPS laser to lay storm drain and grade, with overall knowledge of site development.
