Full job description

Job Overview: We are seeking a caring and experienced babysitter to pick up our two kids on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons from Crestview Elementary, drive to our house near the Canyon Country Club, and babysit in our home for a few hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for caring for our children in a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. The babysitter/nanny will also be expected to have reliable transportation and engage our children in fun and educational activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality childcare for our children (ages 5 and 6)
• Create a safe and engaging environment for our children to play, learn, and grow
• Prepare snacks for our children
• Maintain a clean and organized living space for our children
• Develop and maintain a positive and loving relationship with our children
• Communicate regularly with us to ensure our children's needs are being met

Skills:

• Experience with infant care and toddler care
• Proven experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR
• Ability to educate and engage children in fun and educational activities
• Strong caregiving skills and the ability to create a nurturing environment
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to lift and move children as necessary
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters related to our family
• A clean driving record
• A valid driver's license

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 per week
