Party Host

Philadelphia Gymnastics Center is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Birthday Party Host. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hosting fun and engaging parties and events for children ages 3-12 years. Candidates must have Sunday availability and strong leadership qualities. The person selected for this role will work up to 8-10 hours weekly. Philadelphia Gymnastics Center, located in Conshohocken, offers gymnastics classes, competitive team gymnastics, skills clinics, and birthday parties to children who enjoy movement, active play, and a fun, friendly atmosphere. Job responsibilities: Remote (flexible, 1-2 hours per week): Reach out to parents prior to each party to review the party package, gym policies and answer any questions. Summarize family/birthday child preferences to help facilitate a successful party for each family In-person (Sundays): Greet families and ensure completion of event waivers by all party guests. Interact with children and ensure they are entertained and engaged throughout the party. Assist with setting up and decorating party space according to the theme or requirements of the party. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the party. Coordinate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the party. Clean up and reset the party space after the event. Handle any issues or concerns that may arise during the party in a professional manner. Requirements: Must be at least 17 years old Strong customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills Experience working with children Creative and able to multitask Ability to work well under pressure and handle unexpected situations Reliable and punctual
