Plateau Grp is currently hiring Junior Application .Net developers for their Fairfax, VA and Daleville, AL. locations. As a hybrid model, candidates are expected to be onsite at these locations 2-3 days a week to learn and collaborate with the team.

As an Junior Application Developer, you will be part of the development and maintenance team with a focus on .NET and web-based software solutions. This role is in a high performing team with growth opportunities.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coding according to business requirements following industry best practices
  • Team player with a proactive attitude, the ability to be productive in a dynamic / collaborative environment
  • Produce software documentation and engage in quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain established configuration management process.
  • Collaborate daily with team members and program leadership.
  • Proactively learning about new technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
  • Nice to have 1-2 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates with some academic experience will also be considered.
  • Has strong oral and written communication skills and samples of personal project's.
  • Understanding and familiarity with any of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Java, Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge/experience with industry practices and design patterns.
  • Ability to work independently on simple and advanced work assignments.
  • Ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • MUST HAVE DoD Secret Clearance and willing to obtain the CompTIA Security + within 90 days.
