The Physician Assistant (PA-C) diagnoses and treats medical dermatology conditions. The Physician Assistant will perform physical examinations, perform basic dermatology procedures, order laboratory tests and prescribe treatment plans and medications. The PA will be supported by dedicated medical assistants/scribes. The PA can expect to maintain collaborative relationships with supervising physicians while also exercising autonomy. Duties: Complete comprehensive patient assessments; diagnose dermatology conditions Perform procedures including liquid nitrogen, biopsies and excisions Order and interpret lab tests and biopsy reports Prescribe medications Direct and mentor staff Prescribe treatments including UVB/PUVA phototherapy, Excimer and PDT therapies
