RESPONSIBILITIES I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs radiation therapy and simulation procedures on the patient in accordance with prescribed treatment plan. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential: standing, walking, seeing, hearing, speaking, lifting usual weight of 5 pounds up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling weight up to 10 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions. Continuous: carrying usual weight of 5 pounds. Frequent: stooping/bending, gripping of an object for prolonged periods. Operates linear accelerators, simulators, computer, calculator, blood irradiator. III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Exposure to radiation, body fluids, communicable diseases and mechanical/electrical units. Work environment is very fast paced. IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A. Education/Certification and Licensure: 1.Current Hawaii State license as a Radiation Therapist. 2.Current certification in CPR at Healthcare Professional level. B.
