SUMMARY

The Senior Developer, Ecommerce is responsible for issue remediation, implementing new features and modifying the existing functionality of our websites. Collaborate with the digital team and system integrators to achieve digital objectives and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position will contribute to enhancing the current SFCC site(s) and future site which include Radial, Oracle, Algolia and many other ecommerce integrations and services leveraging out of the box features and custom development to meet business requirements.
  • The Senior Salesforce Developer will be involved in the full development life cycle from technical solution to development and testing.
  • Perform proof of concept tasks in partnership with the Technical Architect
  • Perform SFCC development and implementations, with a focus on delivering functional solutions in a Cross-Platform, Cross-Browser Environment
  • Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews.
  • Provide development support, from design through testing and deployment, often collaborating with other members of the technical and test teams.
  • Post-delivery: work with partner teams in support of the live application and perform hand-off and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success
  • Protect the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
  • Analyze and improve site speed and stability.
  • In support of the Technical Lead, write, groom, and provide estimates for development efforts when assigned.
  • Support the evaluation of third-party vendors for potential feature/function projects.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (preferably B2C)
  • Certifications in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SFCC B2C Commerce Developer is required
  • 7+ years overall development experience
  • Strong (Front and Back End/Full Stack) development skills including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS
  • Strong experience using jQuery, pipelines, controllers, and cartridges
  • OCAPI/SCAPI experience a plus
  • Page Designer CMS experience a plus
  • SFRA, PWA, NodeJS and/or React experience a strong plus
  • Experience with Bot mitigation is a strong plus
  • Working knowledge of the corporate retail environment a plus
  • We strongly adhere to process and leverage Atlassian tools for ticketing and documentation. Proficiency with Atlassian tools a plus.
