Absolute Dental is the largest group of general and specialty dental practices in Nevada. We are expanding and looking for energetic dental assistants to join our team in Las Vegas. Pay is based on experience.

In addition to hourly pay, our back-office team members receive weekly bonuses. We have full-time and part-time opportunities for general, pediatric, ortho, perio, OS, and hygiene assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skill set and advance your career.

We seek competent dental assistants to make our offices more efficient and pleasant for patients. You will ensure excellent customer service and support the dentist by handling administrative and basic dental tasks. Dental assistants should be well-organized, detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, and adhere to dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and making office procedures as smooth as possible.

We will train candidates with no experience

Essential Job Functions:
  • Welcome patients
  • Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant or willingness to train
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
  • Good computer skills

Additional Information:

Must be able to travel since we have 23 different locations in Las Vegas, including some in Henderson. The role requires you to work across various areas, from North Las Vegas to Henderson, potentially visiting multiple practices in a day. If you work at multiple practices in a day, you will be compensated at the daily Nevada mileage rate on your paycheck.
