Montvale, New Jersey based client is seeking a .NET Software Developer for a hybrid contract to hire opportunity.

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Expertise with .NET framework, .NET core, object oriented programming, Design patterns.

  • Experience with Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL server.

  • Expertise with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, jQuery etc.

  • Expertise with Entity framework core code first approach.

  • Experience with various messaging platforms and patterns, ServiceBus, RabbitMQ etc.

  • Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies

  • Experience with working in an Agile team and adept at using tools like Azure Devops, Git etc.

  • Experience with troubleshooting and implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with application performance / analytics tools

  • Experience with ARM templates and SharePoint a plus.

  • Establish & follow best practices for coding, incorporate secure coding practices and documents code consistently; responsible for quality code of given product area

  • Team player who can mentor and support other software engineers

  • Effective communicator, can clearly communicate verbally and in-writing

  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently

  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud based web development

  • Experience preferred in cloud/big data environment.

  • Experience with SQL and non-SQL environments.

  • Understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Service Oriented, Microservices, and Containers.

  • Expert understanding of PHP, Python, HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.

  • Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing.

  • Azure experience & SharePoint experience is good to have

  • Coding, testing and debugging programs according to computer engineering specifications

  • Modifying, expanding and updating applications

  • Communicating with a team that includes analysts, engineers and quality assurance testers in order to coordinate and document application development and testing

  • Developing software prototypes
