Job Title: Assembler
Location: Ontario, CA
Pay Rate: $16.50/hr
Job Summary:

The Assembler will play a crucial role in manufacturing operations, performing tasks assigned to them within the production cell or station. This role requires adherence to safety protocols, effective teamwork, and the ability to maintain production quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned tasks in the manufacturing cell or station efficiently and accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the assigned line.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to maintain continuous workflow and achieve production goals.
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions provided by trainers or Group Leads.
  • Provide brief verbal descriptions of assigned tasks and steps to accomplish them.
  • Report to the assigned line on time at the start of shifts and after breaks.
  • Perform self-inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain quality and quantity standards for assigned workstations.
  • Perform housekeeping audits and maintain a clean, organized workspace following 6S principles.
  • Execute additional duties as required.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong dexterity for handling simple assemblies, subassemblies, and box assembly.
  • Ability to manually apply labels accurately.
  • Basic math skills for simple operations.
  • Good eye-hand coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish colors effectively.
  • Capability to accept and implement feedback or coaching from trainers or Group Leads.
Physical Demands:
  • Stand for most of the 8-hour shift.
  • Lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
  • Perform tasks involving pulling and pushing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of work quality and efficiency.
