Overview

Shure is looking for a passionate Systems Solution Lead to be a pivotal force in driving innovative solutions with a passionate team of experts dedicated to our world-class products.

The Systems Solutions Lead will specialize in websites, integrations, and Sitecore technologies, designing and implementing robust, scalable solutions to enhance digital platforms. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for creating seamless integrations, ensuring the technical architecture aligns with strategic business goals, maintaining high performance and security standards, and providing technical guidance throughout the project life-cycle.

This position is remote.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Shure backend development team and its projects (PI plan, sprints, backlog, roles) within the agile SAFe framework.
  • Perform Annual and Mid-Year evaluation with the Back-end team, provide guidance, support, and feedback.
  • Demonstrate leadership, take on performance management, team coordination, coaching, hiring, project management and scrum master tasks for cross-functional development teams.
  • Manage DevOps, infrastructure and security functions within the web team and act as main contact in that area for Shure's IT department
  • Responsible for automated deployments and environmental management leveraging DevOps tools and practices specific to Sitecore
  • Responsible for optimizing Sitecore performance through proper caching strategies, CDN integration, and scaling practices
  • Implement and manage security best practices specific to Sitecore environments
  • Create and maintain concepts, tech strategy, documentation, briefings, and visualization and communicate them to enable technology decisions up the executive level leadership
  • Coordinate and prioritize backend and frontend development tasks within Shure's global marketing and sales organization and coordinate efforts across departments to meet international and regional requirements
  • Conceptualize web applications, APIs, and data models or adapt them to meet stakeholder needs
  • Organize and monitor product information management (PIM, data assessment, enrichment, processes, remediation, data flow mapping, data models) within the global web team
  • Coordinate freelancers and agencies: Actively negotiate requirements, milestones, and schedules and evaluate results
  • Manage international rollout, relaunch, and localization projects for corporate websites, B2C/B2B e-commerce, and web apps
  • Support international stakeholders, regional marketing, sales, and service teams by providing change management, knowledge transfer, training, and first -to third-level support for websites, platforms, and infrastructure
  • Conduct and contribute to enterprise-wide projects in the areas of B2C/B2B E-Commerce, company-wide system integration and automation, user journey/UX, information management, CMS, IAM, DevOps, and data governance
  • Support the day-to-day operations of www.shure.com from a technical perspective with a focus on data models, CMS, technical SEO, external service integration
  • Manage Consent Management Platform in close coordination with the legal team and performance marketing
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of wide-ranging experience managing multiple, complex, and international web-related projects
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to effectively communicate throughout the organization in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives.
  • Extensive experience in:
    • Sitecore with integration into other systems is a plus. Understanding and leveraging emerging technologies that can be integrated with Sitecore, such as AI/ML for personalization, voice search optimization, and headless CMS approaches
    • Jamstack platform or serverless deployment systems such as Vercel, Netlify or others
    • Web technology and frameworks (JS/CSS, Python, Next.js, SQL databases, REST APIs, GraphQL, GitHub/GitHub Actions, AWS, Cloudflare), markup and schema
    • Managing global and regional website and e-commerce projects
    • CMS/DXP technology, functionality, and requirements in a global environment
    • Running international development and e-commerce projects
    • Global GDPR Technical Rules
    • Knowledge of Accessibility for Web best practices
    • Technical Project Management and agile methodologies
    • System architecture (integration patterns, database technology, and data models, query languages, microservice architecture, data structure)
    • Creating structured and adequate documentation and visualizations/diagrams for different target groups
    • Creation and facilitation of training in complex systems as well as 1st to 3rd level support in these systems
    • Creation of briefings for freelancers and agencies
    • Product information management in general, contemporary PIM systems in particular
    • Search engine technology and principles (e.g., Elastic Search and technical SEO)
    • Change management, stakeholder communication, structured communication
    • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, performance management, team coordination, coaching, hiring
    • Content authoring processes, translation management, metadata
  • Experience in:
    • Contemporary enterprise marketing technology (PIM, GTM/GA, CRM, ERP, etc.)
    • Privacy frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, their impact on technology, data, and transactions, and how to utilize CMP in this context (Cookiebot)
    • Infrastructure, DevOps, API management and technology (AWS, TerraformCloud, GitHub Actions)
    • Closed-source CMS (e.g., Sitecore, Hygraph) as well as open-source CMS (e.g., Magnolia, Typo3)
    • Agile Project Management (Jira, Confluence), Software QA, Bug Tracking, Service Desk
    • Authentication platforms and frameworks (Okta, SAML/OAuth)
    • Web Analytics (GA4)
  • Ability to evaluate the market and existing technology and concepts to maintain a sustainable and modular microservice architecture
  • Ability to use an analytical approach to gather global and department-specific requirements
  • Experience representing the interface between stakeholders and developers and the ability to capture stakeholder requirements and translate them into sustainable technological concepts or projects for development teams to execute
  • Ability to represent backend development / architectural view during UX / UI projects and digital marketing campaigns
