JOB SUMMARY
Productive Playhouse is seeking Hebrew Transcribers to join our transcription team in our Glendale, California office for project-based work. The task will be to listen to audio files, and type (transcribe) what you hear. Some labeling of segments is required. Elements transcribed include speech (sometimes frequently overlapping), background noises, and music. No translation is required in this position. The transcription must be completed according to a set of guidelines that you will be provided upon acceptance. The workload is dependent on project needs.

- Make consistent progress on assigned material
SKILLS
- 35 WPM typing speed preferred
- Strong language skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for punctuation, grammar, and spelling
- Ability to learn and adapt to our client’s style guide and written domain conventions
- Strong research skills for accurate spelling of names, locations, and products
- Ability to meet deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
- US work authorization (the company cannot provide sponsorship)
- Able to commute to our office
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to read and type in Hebrew (you will be asked to take a language assessment)
- Ability to understand a wide variety of Hebrew-speaking accents and dialects
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
- Fully vaccinated against COVID, or the ability to provide medical or religious documentation for exemption.
