Senior Business Analyst

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions.

As a Senior Business Analyst, the successful candidate will work directly with our Tier 1 clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita offers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, business analysis and project management experience. Additionally, they will have knowledge of programming fundamentals, controls, and data testing across financial products. They will have a solid understanding of Asset & Wealth Management and experience within risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our client to support the design and implementation of an evaluation framework to monitor processes, systems and controls.
  • Apply rigorous testing methods to ensure both performance and compliance.
  • Work with various business lines to understand residual risks and enhance the overall risk and control framework.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the risk and control profile across Asset & Wealth Management.
  • Provide advice, challenge, and insights to the business lines on recommended risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review action items to ensure risk is being adequately addressed.
  • Identify and share best practices for risk management across teams, functions, and business lines.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3 years+ of relevant experience
  • Solid quantitative and technical background with a keen interest in financial markets
  • Proficient in programming fundamentals including software development lifecycle concepts
  • Experienced in risk management
  • Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, particularly with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Skilled in navigating data sets, developing metrics, and performing analysis
  • Good at influencing and innovative thinking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple business lines
  • CFA, FRM or equivalent professional certifications are preferred.
Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client's policies and expectations are, and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients' demands. For this role, the client typically requires 4-5 days in the office.
