Job Summary:

We are seeking a Rehabilitation Services Director with a focus on Occupational Therapy to oversee the efficient management of rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality care, provide direct patient care, mentor and develop staff, and maintain financial controls of revenue and expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the efficient and profitable delivery of rehabilitation services
  • Provide direct patient care and clinical education
  • Review department and therapist outcomes to improve quality of care
  • Mentor and develop therapy staff
  • Participate in hiring and performance reviews of therapy staff
  • Administer financial controls and meet budget goals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with facility management
  • Ensure clinical management and oversight of the rehabilitation department

Educational and Vocational Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensure as required in the state of practice
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three years direct patient care experience and one year of management experience in rehabilitation setting
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing
