Nashville, United States Wellvana Full time
The Why Behind Wellvana:

The healthcare system isn't designed for health. We're designed to change that. We're Wellvana, and we help doctors deliver life-changing healthcare.

Through our elevated value-based care programs, we're revitalizing an antiquated system that's far too long relied on misaligned incentives that reward quantity of care not the quality of it.

Our enlightened approach-covering everything from care coordination to clinical documentation education to marketing- ties the healthy outcomes of patients directly to shared savings for primary care providers, health systems and payors.

Providers in our curated network keep their independence, reduce their administrative headaches, and spend more time with patients. Patients, in turn, get an elevated experience with coordinated care between appointments that is nothing short of life-changing.

Named a 2024 "Best in Business" and 2023 "Best Place to Work" by Nashville Business Journal , we're one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in America because what we do works. This is the way medicine is meant to be.

Clarity on the Role:

The primary responsibility for the Senior Data Analyst is to support Wellvana in providing high quality patient care and meeting quality and value-based outcomes through the management of large clinical data sets and application of advanced data analytics. The Senior Data Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the strategic needs of the company and helping to answer diverse business questions and initiatives. This role will work closely with leadership and the clinical operations teams in Wellvana markets.

  • Work with leadership to understand and interpret the impacts to cost and quality of initiatives using relevant data sources and analytic platforms.
  • Help to define business and healthcare outcome metrics.
  • Build analyses to uncover metrics that demonstrate Wellvana's value to patients and customers.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver insights through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and other mediums.
  • Develop clean, reusable, and testable analytical code and make use of existing data team libraries and modules.
  • Develop warehouse design and table structures to allow for accessible analytics.
  • Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale data infrastructure.
