A travel nursing opportunity is available for a Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse. This 13-week assignment requires 18 months of recent experience in an long term acute care setting. Our top healthcare client requires an active RN license, degree from accredited nursing program, BLS, ACLS certifications along with experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes, and ability to read tele-strips.

  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour shifts, nights
  • Care for pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
  • Start IV's, draw blood and provide medication orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV
  • Interpret telemetry readings and report abnormalities to medical team
  • Record and interpret electronic displays on specialized equipment
  • Educate patients and their families on surgical processes and illness/injury management
