Jennings Mechanical is a leading provider of mechanical contracting services, specializing in high-quality installations, maintenance, and repair of piping systems. We are seeking skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Pipefitters and Helpers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for heating, cooling, and other services. As a Pipefitter or Helper at Jennings Mechanical, you will work on various projects, ensuring that all piping systems are installed correctly, safely, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles, using hand and power tools.
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
  • Test piping systems for leaks and other issues, making necessary repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter or Helper in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC piping systems and their components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
  • Certification or apprenticeship in pipefitting is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
