Overview TRC is seeking a highly motivated Roadway Engineer for our growing transportation practice in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Ohio DOT projects, be a team player, and be enthusiastic about working with other engineers, project managers, and other technical staff assisting with planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, such as the design of roadways. Responsibilities We have immediate openings in our Columbus, OH office for an entry-level Roadway Design Engineer. These positions offer an exceptional opportunity for personal and professional growth to a motivated individual with strong technical skills and a desire to achieve. We provide an opportunity to work on a multitude of Design-Build, Public-Private-Partnerships (P3), and Design-Bid-Build Projects. Responsibilities: Ensure Compliance with federal, state and local requirements by studying existing codes and ordinances as related to the application of engineering and design principles. Work with others as a contributing member of a project design group Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering - Master-s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred EIT registration is Preferred Highway or bridge design experience a plus. MicroStation and ODOH experience are plusses. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
