Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Staff Development/Infection Control RN:
- Responsible for orientation new nursing staff.
- Functions as the in-service Coordinator for nurses and nurse aides.
- Assist in administering TB, hepatitis, and obtains hepatitis consents.
- Logs and Maintains vaccination records for employment
- Assesses Infection control protocols and recommends corrective action
- Nursing licensure for RN in the State of Michigan.
- Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals.
- Well organized and flexible in hours to accommodate in servicing and competency skills signoffs.
- Two years' experience in long term care.
