Job Description:-

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with expertise in using Katalon or WebDriver for automated testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Testing:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio and WebDriver.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Test Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary to complement automated tests.
  • Document and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct performance testing and load testing to validate system performance under various conditions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Communicate testing progress, issues, and results to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in QA automation testing.
  • Proven experience with Katalon Studio and WebDriver.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and test case development.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certification in relevant QA/testing fields.
