As a recognized leader offering services to treat opioid dependence, The Lennard Clinic is a model for the state. We treat each patient with respect and dignity and provide an outcome-driven and fully integrated continuum of care that addresses the diverse needs of our patients.The Lennard Clinic has been servicing these counties for more than 35 years and is looking for qualified candidates interested in the behavioral health field to provide individual and group counseling services in an outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) facility.General Expectations:-Adhere to Agency Policy and Procedures.-Act as a role model within and outside the agency.-Performs duties in a quality manner and in accordance with all policies and procedures.-Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.-Communicate regularly with supervisor about Department issues.-Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.-Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.-Meet Department productivity standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe part-time Nurse shall be responsible for the direction, provision and quality of nursing services provided to patients, and in so doing shall be responsible for the following:-Provide services in accordance with CARF, NJ Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) licensure, and DEA standards.-Coordinate and integrate nursing services with the other patient care services within the organization to assure continuity of care for each patient.-Provide services that comply with required nursing department standards.-Participate in staff medical education activities.Interview applicants and provide close supervision for newly hired nurses at all two (2) sites.-Monitor and control dispensing and storage of all medications and medical supplies, including tracking of all medication dosing; onsite, off-site and guest dosing.-Control and monitor release of client medical information in accordance with policies and procedures.-Complete and attend all on-site, on-site and online training as required.-Attend all organizational meetings as required.Qualifications: -Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred but not required.-Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New Jersey.-Have at least one year of experience dispensing Schedule II medications in a Substance Abuse Treatment Center..-Knowledge of DEA 42 CFR Federal Opioid Treatment Standards-Knowledge of NJ Department of Human and Addiction Service outpatient license regulations and standards.Salary Range:$40 per hour Up to 24 hours per weekPerformance review is conducted annually in JuneAmericans with Disabilities Act Requirements:Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
