We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Information Contractor to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing essential medical information and support regarding our client's products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, document, and respond to written medical information requests from healthcare providers.
  • Handle escalated calls from the call center related to products as needed.
  • Update and/or create medical letters pertaining to products.
  • Ensure compliance with medical ethical and legal responsibilities to limit corporate liability when providing product/device-related information.
  • Serve as an educational resource for both internal and external customers.
  • Gather initial information regarding any product complaints or adverse events in accordance with FDA guidelines and company policies.
  • Contribute to interdepartmental projects, supporting the provision of medical, scientific, and technical information about products as needed.
  • Provide assistance and/or training to other medical information personnel (i.e., consultants).
  • Participate in handling call center escalations (no on-call or after-hours required).

Requirements:

  • PharmD degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience providing medical information to customers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Medical Information Systems is a plus but not required.
