Springfield Hospital's Emergency Department, located at 25 Ridgewood Road in Springfield, VT, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, unless your condition requires being seen by a Doctor or Physician's Assistant immediately, you will be promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse to determine the severity of your condition and the appropriate course of treatment.

Our Emergency Department at Springfield Hospital is fully staffed around the clock and serves approximately 14,000 patient visits each year.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED Traveler will need to find their own coverage from available staff (approved by Manager) for RTO after assignment starts.

NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Traveler must be willing to work holidays, including weekends before (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. Thanks

Local travelers (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) not eligible for posted rate. Please upload travelers at 10% off posted rate/hour

Requirement description :

  • 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting - Required
  • Previous Travel - Preferred
  • Bachelor Degree - Preferred

  • Work History
  • Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
  • 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
  • License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and BLS - Facility will not pend certs)
