Panics Web Services Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Services Engineer to join our team at Panic. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to and maintain our growing fleet of Flask and Django web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing documentation and unit tests for your work.
  • Balancing the needs and priorities of multiple teams.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience with Python.
  • Experience with Django.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Functional and integration unit-testing skills.
  • Git version control experience.
  • A willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Docker/Docker Compose.
  • Vanilla JavaScript skills.
  • HTMX knowledge.
  • REST API design expertise.
  • E-commerce and payment systems experience.

Location:

Our office is located in Portland, Oregon, and we are looking for someone willing to work in our office at least two days a week. If you don't currently live in or near Portland, we offer up to $5,000 in relocation expenses if you're willing to move here.

Salary & Benefits:

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 annually.
