Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and increase reliability, performance, and longevity of equipment
  • Preventive maintenance: take care of detected mechanical anomalies
  • Installing machinery and equipment.
  • Detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Participate in the selection of various project equipment
  • Ensure compliance to OHSA and Company EHS guidelines were met and maintained during installation and operation of new equipment
  • Evaluate, suggest, and implement instrumentation and connectivity projects for our equipment
  • Evaluate, suggest, and participate in automation projects for our operations
  • Actively manage preventive and corrective maintenance efforts
Qualifications:
  • Professional diploma in industrial mechanic or electro mechanics
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Experience In welding, assembly and disassembly, and handling of heavy equipment.
  • Interests and skills for problem solving or troubleshooting.
  • Ingenuity, dynamism, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
  • Tolerance to visual elements and odors.
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Ability to maintain internal and external relationships
