Staffmark is seeking a Dispatcher to join our dynamic team in Pearland, TX. If you excel in communication and multitasking, this could be the perfect opportunity for you As a Dispatcher, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating and tracking deliveries, managing incoming calls, and providing essential information to drivers.

Pay: $17 to $18 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Dispatcher Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and requests.
  • Receive and record delivery requests, dispatching orders for products.
  • Address issues and relay information to relevant parties for resolution.
  • Monitor delivery progress and provide timely assistance as needed.
  • Inform drivers of crucial details regarding orders, traffic conditions, and delivery requirements.
  • Quote job prices and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely to ensure drivers understand their routes and expectations.
Dispatcher Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role.
  • Strong typing skills and experience with data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Active listener with strong communication abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in fast-paced situations.
