Client operates in various sectors, including electrical systems and components, power distribution and control, vehicle and aerospace solutions, hydraulic systems and components, and industrial automation.

Rate Range: $22-$23/Hr

Job Description:
  • The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting the quality manager and techs to ensure that no suspect material is send to customers
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Quality manager on the deliverables
  • Ensure material is under specification
  • Retrieve and Validate Material Certs from Suppliers
  • Assist with work instructions as required
  • Create and update documents in PLEX ERP
  • Retrieve, weigh, and photograph samples
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Quality Management.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Microsoft office
  • Quality knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PDF reader (Word, Excel, Adobe/Firefox,
  • Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to use and test functionality of basic inspection gauges (caliper, pin gauge, height
  • gauge, etc.)
  • Automotive Industry (preferred).
Position Criteria:
  • Troubleshoot metrology and process issues to minimize down time, drive continuous
  • improvement, and recommend solutions,
  • Support root cause analysis,
  • Communicate and interact with Engineering, Tool Room and Production as necessary
  • Good communication skills both written and oral (English and Spanish preferred),
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Required to occasionally lift 40 lbs.
  • Hearing protection required in posted places
  • Safety glasses and steel boots are required
  • Comply with all safety protocols
