*As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) you will:.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
* Provide, arrange, teach, and supervise nursing care within the department.
* Perform treatment, diagnostic, and preventative procedures as ordered by physicians.
* Apply professional nursing practices and standards of care consistently.
* Adhere to infection control practices, including the use of PPE, universal precautions, and MSDS requirements.
* Follow and implement emergency preparedness procedures.
*Qualifications:.
* Current RN license in the state of Illinois by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.
* BLS certification (AHA required)
* ACLS and PALS certification (if previously certified, must be current within 90 days of hire; if not previously certified, must obtain within 180 days of hire).
* TNCC is highly preferred but not required
* Strong knowledge of professional nursing practices and team leadership.
* Familiarity with nursing standards of care, policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Understanding of specialty-specific patient populations, infection control practices, and emergency preparedness.
