Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Entry-level candidates with 0-1 year of experience. Some prior lab experience is preferred in the form of internships, academic projects, etc.
  • Assist chemists in the development of various cosmetic products including skin and haircare by executing a large amount of lab batches by following manufacturing procedures provided by the chemist.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment such as pH meter, Brookfield viscometers, stand mixers and homogenizers.
  • Measures and records specifications that are applicable such as pH and viscosity upon completion of lab batches.
  • Fills and labels bulk of executed batches in packaging components or containers as specified by and upon request of the chemist.
  • Helps maintain lab cleanliness by organizing supplies and raw materials.
