Description The MSW Social Worker is responsible for providing services to hospice patients, families, and caregivers, addressing a wide range of social work care coordination and psychosocial issues related to end-of-life needs including: adjustment to illness/prognosis, care system issues, community resource issues, insurance/financial issues, legal/ethical issues, and end-of-life planning. Required Qualifications: Master's Degree - Masters Degree from an accredited School of Social Work. Washington Advanced Social Worker License upon hire. Or, Washington Advanced Social Worker Associate License upon hire. Or, Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire. Or, Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year - Post-Masters work experience 1 year - Prior internship experience in a Providence Health System setting 1 year - Prior experience in a healthcare setting Why Join Providence? About the Team Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint. HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses.
