Production Racker

East Side Plating is currently hiring for a Racker position for our day shift operation, the Racker hangs customer parts on racks prior to the plating process.
Responsibilities:
- Places parts on various racks/carts/fixtures in advance of the plating process
- Applies masking and/or plugs to parts as required by customer specifications
- Makes recommendations for improvements
- Tracks and records work order information in computer
- Follows safety guidelines, achieves and maintains quality and productivity standards, maintains an acceptable dependability level, and must not pose risk to self or others
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform visual inspection on parts prior to processing to prevent potential quality issues
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and receive direction from others
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and work well with others
- Able to work while standing during your shift
- Ability to lift parts and push carts up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to wear gloves and safety glasses
Preferred Qualifications:
Shifts: Day: Mon to Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with occasional Sat. OT
Wage: $21.00/hour to start
East Side Plating offers a competitive wage with opportunities for increases in 6 months, medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan. Background check is required.
