For the past six decades, The FESCO Group has become is a top international manufacturer of "mass market" consumer electronics with over 3,000 products and 15 leading brands... including Car & Driver, Perry Ellis, RCA, Epilady and Coby Audio.  We are a growing company with a new "Hero" product, called the "Epilaser", which will revolutionize the "personal hair removal" beauty industry.  We are looking to continue to aggressively build-up our eCommerce business.

The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for assisting in digital content writing, SEO, data analytics, product listings, report generation and general operational duties.  (This position is fully on-site at our East Williamsburgh / Brooklyn, NY office.  Additionally, we unfortunately do not have the budget for this position to relocate candidates to our area, nor sponsor any work visas.)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in crafting engaging product descriptions for companies' websites, third-party marketplaces, and listings.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant search terms for product optimization.
  • Learn and apply SEO best practices from both front-end (content creation) and back-end (metadata, tags) perspectives.
  • Utilize online tools and software for keyword optimization under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support the monitoring and analysis of Google Page Rank and other SEO metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align content with PPC campaigns and overall marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in SEO, Shopify and Amazon algorithms, and e-commerce content strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related degree.  
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in content writing with some exposure to SEO optimization.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google search term analysis.
  • Familiarity with online keyword optimization tools and a willingness to learn more.
  • Knowledge of Google PPC and its role in content marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
