Visual Inspector

Title: Visual Inspector

Department: Quality/Inspection

Position Summary: Candidates are required to visually inspect parts for any imperfections and reject unacceptable material and or product according to specifications. Candidates are also required to move inspected parts to designated area when required.

Oversee the department with daily functions

Minimum Qualifications and Education:
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs and moving 40 lbs pans with dollies
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Basic math and reading skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inspection experience a plus
  • Ability to read a micrometer and caliper a plus


Reporting Relationships: Will report to QA Manager

Working Conditions: Sitting most of the time. Repetitive hand motions. Machine shop environment.

Success Factors: The candidate should have a good attitude and be willing to learn. Good communications skills a plus. Candidates should understand the importance of material flow- constant and steady.
