SUMMARY The CT Technologist performs CT imaging and assists radiologists in performing CT Interventional procedures, obtaining high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

LOCATION: Newark Wayne Community Hospital

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Care: Performs CT scans and assists with intervention procedures; provides on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; addresses patient care needs
  • Documentation: Ensures proper documentation of exams and procedures; documents performance of studies in patient charts

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT-R), New York State Radiologic Technologist License (or ability to obtain within 6 months), NYS Injection Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

PAY RANGE: $31.00 - $44.00 per hour
