Job Summary

The Document Control Associate is responsible for supporting and maintaining physical & electronic document files to assist, maintain and support the effectiveness of the Sportech Management System (SMS).

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in the document control process, including document change control, file maintenance & maintenance of SOP controlled hard copies, release of approved documents & assure proper archiving of obsolete documentation.
  • Generate, coordinate, and maintain confidential reports, correspondence, processes, procedures, and other materials supporting the activities of the Sportech Management System.
  • Draft and edit documents, presentations as needed, and handle special projects as necessary.
  • Record keeping & quality assurance activities, including maintaining support of Production Floor Machine Books when applicable documents are updated or created.
  • Assist in writing, template formatting & revision of controlled documents.
  • Coordinate document training requirements with initial requester resulting from a document release & revision of controlled documents which includes document Training Sign-off record keeping.
  • Provide excellent internal customer service to document requesters.
  • Observation assistance looking for uncontrolled documentation, including Production floor walks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional experience or college a plus.
  • Expected to have a strong desire to learn technical writing, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and plan while exhibiting a process thinking approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint. Knowledge of SharePoint, and Visio a plus.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, coordinate and report activities in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other department resources, while showing initiative and ownership of ideas and projects.
