MAJOR DUTIES / CRITICAL TASKS: • Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates nutritional programs. • Develops and implements plan of care and correlates with other health services. • Evaluates patient's nutritional care and provides follow-up continuity of care. • Instructs patients and families in nutritional principles, diet, food selection and economics. • Provides consultation to and works with community groups. • Maintains records of all individuals counseled. • Adheres to internal controls established for department. • Performs related duties as required. Preferred: Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required. Travel or floating to other locations: Yes, position requires travel for training and coverage and thus, candidate must be willing to travel. Shift: Nights and weekends possible. Must be will to work until at least 6 pm for clinic hours, with flexibility if client needs require later or weekends.
