Nurse Manager- SAPH

The Nurse Manager's role is to set the standard of care in the facility. The Nurse Manager is responsible for training the existing staff, as well as hiring new staff as needed.
Job duties and Responsibilities for Nurse Manager:
- Create goals and objectives for their department or facility and make sure they are met by the staff
- Communicate with staff and department heads
- Keep and organize records of the particular facility
- Recruit and train nurses and other health professionals
- Create work schedules for nurses
- Ensure the facility they work in is compliant with current laws
- Improve the quality and efficiency of the level of care delivered to patients
- Current Active Minnesota Nursing License
- Long-tern care experience.
- Ability to solve problems and set priorities.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they affect long-term care.
- Ability to promote self-motivation and evaluation to other staff members, as well as self.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
