SUMMARY:
  • Responsible for the design, development, implementation, optimization, and support of enhancements and deficiency corrections in the field of manufacturing related applications.
  • Building of web applications to run on mobile devices will also be required as well as the coordination of new releases.
  • A thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle concepts, strong communication skills, and a process-oriented mindset are required in addition to very good technical and documentation skills.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with business users to analyze business needs, document requirements and leverage systems/processes to provide solutions that maximize value creation for manufacturing thru new functionality.
  • Define architecture and design approaches to address customer requirements.
  • Confer with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, and choose solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Perform unit testing, assist in integration and end-user (UAT) testing.
  • Follow established change management processes.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the latest programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.
  • Provide customer support and application maintenance of existing manufacturing and intranet website solutions.
  • Must be able to work productively, both independently and in team environments.

  • Experience in Manufacturing/ERP/Warehouse Management Systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology with a focus on web development or in a related field of study and at least two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in .Net Programming C#, VB.
  • Proficiency in JAVA programming (JEE & AngularJS).
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server), including table creation, database triggers
  • Adequate knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Web User Interface Design (UI), Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Multimedia Content Development
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
  • Familiar with programming standards, naming conventions, methodology standards, code libraries
